Wearing a sports bra, but why?

A normal bra already provides support, so why should you also buy a sports bra? In the short term, a sports bra supports you while exercising. Due to the tight fit, the fine design and the materials that the bra is made of, the bra is very supporting. The design is always made to ensure you have optimal freedom of movement without irritating or chafing. In addition, the materials also make sure that irritation is prevented and sweat is disposed. In the long term, a sports bra keeps your skin young and prevents pain in, for example, the lower back. A sports bra therefore offers short-term and long-term benefits.

Determining your bra size

Now that we know why it's important to wear a sports bra, let's take a look at the right size. Like your everyday bras, sports bras are usually sized with a number and a letter. These two sizes refer to your lower chest width and to your cup size.

What do you need to find your perfect size? It's easy: a measuring tape, yourself and a mirror or someone else who can help you measuring. If you like to measure the size with a bra on, make sure you are not wearing a padded, minimizer or push-up bra.

Measure the width of your lower chest by pulling the measuring tape tightly around your chest, just below your breasts. You measure the chest width by pulling the measuring tape over your nipples, around your body. Keep the measuring tape a little bit looser. Did you measure both? Then it's time to look at your size:
